Circle Of Friends

 

Circle of Friends are a community based volunteer organisation that work on behalf of refugees. In 2008, Circle of Friends approached Arts Excentrix to assist them in managing a Refugee Week fundraiser. They did not have the expertise to the concept, so Arts Excentrix volunteered to arrange and stage manage the event. A three hour performance was organised at the Blackwood Hall, and was such a success that the Circle of Friends approached Arts Excentrix to manage a similar event in June 2009.
